License check
Every NitroCart install periodically contacts the license check server. This is separate infrastructure, independent from your store: it confirms the license is active and does not take part in order processing.
If the check server is temporarily unavailable
A grace period applies: the store keeps running and accepting orders until the connection to the check server is restored. This is standard engine behavior, not an emergency mode.
What doesn't depend on the check server
The database, media files, orders, and customer contacts live physically on your own server — not in a partner's cloud. Even if the licensing infrastructure is fully unavailable, this data doesn't go anywhere.
Demo stands
Public format demos (Catalog, Landing one, Landing multi, Tickets) are deployed separately from production infrastructure. Current links to live demos are on the homepage.
